Product Description
Physical and chemical properties: white powder, non-toxic, combustible, non-toxic, specific gravity 1.095, solubility 118, insoluble in water, ethanol, soluble in hot organic solvents and acids. It is heated and dissolved in organic solvent and then cooled into a jelly, which is easily decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding zinc salt in strong acid.
